This is a charming story. The yaoi isn’t explicit, the romance is heartwarming. The miscommunications that occur are often a combination of frustrating, touching and even gently comedic. It isn’t rife with the melodrama that fills most manga of this genre. Instead, it strives to be a straightforward romantic tale between two young men and the art reflects its honest and gentle nature. The story stretches out through almost the full length of the manga and has an epilogue following the two men after the events of the main story. There is also a bonus story in this manga, “Summer Rain”, that is a bittersweet tale of lost love with a surprising and exceptionally moving turn of events at the end.
