The final chapter of the successful Comic Party series has come to a end, but on this latest volume, a story side steps the laugher to provide us a look in the manga world, and it is Mizuki vs. Mizuki as things still got out of hand with this final chapter.

An accidental meeting between the queen of ComiPa, Eimi Ohba, and the Japanese Idol and singer, Asahi Sakurai, in an arcade match leads to a newfound friendship, but things turn sour when Eimi's ego got in the way of their friendship.

On to the next story, a horror story is put in place with the case of the poison manga. Aya, Yu, and Eimi received a copy of the manga that for some reason started circulating once again, and upon gazing into the book, all three lost their ability to draw. It is now up to Kazuki to confront the publisher of the book and to find out why the curse manga is circulating once again.

While Kazuki thinks about his future, he somewhat looses track of what he wants to do, and her good friend Aya, showed him to gain back his inspiration to draw by having him observe and participate in the world of professional mangakas.

Of course, a story like Comic Party should not end without a cosplay battle with a bizarre twist. Kazuki's amazing ability finally being recognized earned him a prominent spot in the next convention, thus making him a full pledge doujinshi artist. Feeling grateful and everything, but the idea of having a prominent spot put a strain on him, and in the process, creating an illusion of an evil Mizuki with his deepest emotions. Would Mizuki be able to rescue Kazuki with her Peach cosplay against an opponent with a spitting image of her that is created by Kazuki's desire, or would he continue to live in the world he created and trade lead for oil (oil painting)?

From start to finish, Comic Party Revolution has given me the best laughs in an anime. The entire story, while somewhat peculiar at times, touches on the world inside and outside of the manga. However, the third episode in this final volume will give you an overview about professional manga.

While the topic of Kazuki and Mizuki having feelings to one another was touched upon several times in this series, it is finally nice to see that the story writers decided to give the fans a glimpse on what is in Kazuki's mind and what could have been between the both of them even in an indirect approach.

Having great characters to follow, you just can't help liking everyone in this popular series, and it is one of the staples of Comic Party Revolution. And they will certainly be missed.

By the way, what ever happened to Mizuki's oil painting portrait?
