Each of the stories involve a romance about to be actualized; whether it’s a humorous revelation as in the story about co-workers, or an explosion of passion like in the story about the reunited teammates, or a burning physical confrontation between two Yakuza. First loves, first times, secrets revealed, and more, the tales are rich with romance, passion and have their share of tension and drama. The stories about the co-workers and the one about the driving instructor share a lively sense of humor. There’s even some energetic sarcasm thrown in the story about the two former baseball friends, but that has more drama to it. It is also one of my personal favorites out of the nice variety of stories offered in this manga. However, the yakuza story stands out for its drama and also for the heavier emotions laden within the at times violent tale. It also holds the most explicit love scenes out of all four stories offered, with the exception of the epilogue at the end of the manga.

The stories are great. Every tale has a good build up for the romantic tension between the two men of each story. The artwork is very attractive with intense and exceptionally handsome men for each chapter and also offers up a wide variety of genres (Yakuza, baseball, school, office workers). The diversity of the tales and the men in them ensures there is something to please every yaoi fan.
 
Extras in the manga include a full color cover page, an afterword from the author/artist, and a four-panel comic of 801-Chan on the inside flap of the dust jacket.
