The duels at the mansion are coming to a head! It’s Ueki versus his buddy Sano! Friend vs. friend! Why did the guy who can change towels into metal join the bad guys? You can bet Ueki, righteous of all righteous dudes, won’t stop fighting until he finds out. And he better not lose or else his friends end up in the Underworld!
Each story arc gets more and more exciting with lots more on the line for Ueki and his pals. Ueki, the man with the mean green thumb can turn trash into trees. But can he beat his buddy to win the day? You can bet Robert (whom I’ve dubbed “Creepy Rob”) won’t let bygones be bygones. After all, the creepy guy wants to win the Celestial title to waste the world – literally! We get a peek during the duel to Sano’s past. And faster than you can say “Hey, what happened to that red shirted guy on the Star Trek ep?” you know this volume won’t end with everybody coming home. The day should have been one when all is said and done but Creepy Rob has another ace up his sleeve. That’s when freaky Capriccio takes on Ueki and this guy has all the powers of the Robert’s Ten combined! This has got to be one of the most exciting brawls yet in the anime. Ueki has some supremely manly moments happening. John Wayne could almost take lessons from this scrawny dude of righteousness. The coolest part is the end of the final ep where not only to you get to learn why Robert got to be so creepy, you get to see Ueki challenge him to a one-on-one match! It’s mano-a-mano with the top honchos! Can you feel the heat? This fight is kickin’.
