SCI-FI ANIME BLOCK TO PREMIERE JUNE 11 |

According to a report on B&C (Broadcasting and Cable), the Sci-Fi channel will launch its own anime block (Ani-Monday) on June 11 from 11 PM to 1 PM, in an attempt to lure younger audiences that is dominated by Cartoon Network, and to attract advertising. The contents will come from Manga Entertainment, a unit of Starz Media, which produces the live action series Painkiller Jane. The two-hour block will include series, movies and shorts.
