Learn all the ways gravity can get you down in the latest zany adventures of Senbei and his robot Arale! When Senbei gets to work on an anti-gravity device, you know it will come to no good! Twice he gets into trouble with it. The first time he and his family leave Penguin Village and with them, you know it never ends up how they plan. Then he tries to use it to help King Nikochan return home. It leads to an all out alien versus robot girl fight when a bully ET tries to muscle in on Nikochan’s planet! Then there’s a crazed book thief who isn’t above showing a little cleavage to get her hands on other peoples books, any books. Afterwards, gangsters visit Penguin village and even they can’t get over the welcome they receive. And what other manga could handle a helmet that can turn you into anyone!

This chunk of zany wackiness throws everything at you except maybe a kitchen sink. There’s an xmas chapter and more. This manga is all over the map and the galaxy with these guys going all over on Earth and beyond. This is one of those mangas that is super for when you want something senseless, funny and bizarre. Think of as a lighter, Japanese Farside. Plus we get “A Day in the Life of Tori-san” which sports funny photos with captions. Hilarious!

IN SUMMARY:
Dr. Slump is like a Japanese version of Farside with all sorts of bizarre and hilarious adventures.
