Volume 4 starts off with the climatic finale to the all-out lives-on-the-line fight the Gun Sword heroes have fallen into as each faces one of the Claw’s deadly group, including the Claw himself! With it, Wendy’s search for her brother comes to an end and a possible frightening new goal for Wendy. To unwind afterwards and scare up some cash, Van enters into an Armor tournament and ends up facing a most unexpected opponent. Next, still looking for money, their trials evoke memories of Van’s past and how he first obtained his Armor Dann. Afterwards, Dan faces off against one of the Neo Originals of the Claw. Badly wounded, Van faces a crisis; one Wendy may not be able to help him through.

The very first episode on this disc is fantastic with the suspense and fancy art work seen in the fight sequences. The lighter episode that follows may mean the addition of a new person to Van’s ever increasing group of well intentioned heroes and heroines. The final two episodes on this disc are dramatic, at times even disturbing, as they reveal some unsettling facets to Van’s personality. It also teases mercilessly with clues about Van’s past and who he is and what Dann is in regards to him. All in all, this latest volume of Gun Sword contains a great deal of excitement and suspense done with flourish.

EXTRAS:
Volume 4 includes TV commercial collection part 2, trailer version 3, art gallery, Geneon previews, a reversible cover, a fold out image insert, and two new episodes of the parody Gun X Sword-San.

IN SUMMARY:
