Sing it with me everybody:  The babes are back in town!

Valkyrie is back and the Valhalla babes are looking as luscious as ever. This time everyone’s gearing up for the big wedding day between Val and Kazuto and the fun has already begun! New Valhalla women arrive on the scene to put a wrench in the works, provide fan service and loads of laughs. First there’s Pharm with her green ringlets and glasses fetish, she can’t resist anyone in glasses, especially the girls! So it’s bedlam when she takes on the job of teaching at Kazuto’s school! Then Inarba comes to town. She’s stern and cool and will smack down anyone with her Words of Doom if they go and break the etiquette codes princesses are supposed to live by. And smacketh down she does. Pretty much everyone at the Tokino bathhouse feels her wrath (and wait till you find out their different punishments) until of all people, uptight Rika steps in to face off against the uber-strict Valhalla hottie. And what volume of Valkyrie would be complete without a cat girl episode? When the engaged couple have to scour the city to find the twelve jewels to prove their worth as a couple, Miss Sanada is there to help, mask, cape, cat tail and all!

This is one of those harem comedies you just kick back with a drink (soda pop of course) and enjoy. It’s fun, it’s filled with fan service and I love it. The new more mature Valhalla princesses are a most welcome sight. And if the previews for the next volume are any indication, we’re in for some more new hot women to enter in the picture, including a pirate princess (booya baby!). There are cameos with Mehm, Akidra, and Valkyrie’s Ghost. My only complaint is that this volume was way too scarce on scenes of adult Valkyrie. I mean, she’s like, the main attraction yeah? But even without enough of her, the show sure doesn’t lack for babage, in fact they’ve added to it this season and most excellently so.

EXTRAS:
Bonus goods include a reversible cover, Valkyrie World Notes, clean opening and closing animation, ADV previews, Japanese commercial collection, and text interviews with a bunch of the English voice cast.

IN SUMMARY:
Valkyrie season 3 kicks fan service butt with the new Valhalla princess added to the already stunning pack of women. Valkyrie proves harem comedy anime is alive, bouncy and well.
