Secrets are unraveled as the situation hits hard close to home, and a new ally that has a vendetta against Kronos suddenly appears out of nowhere in this most intense action-filled volume of Guyver: The Bioboosted Armor. Having met the third Guyver and barely surviving the last encounter with Kronos, Sho returns home as he ponders what exactly happened. Meanwhile, Agito is surprised to find out that Richard Guyot is still alive, after he was accountable for the demise of the head of Kronos at their last meeting. In conjunction with his sudden appearance, a plan to retrieve the Guyver unit from Sho is already taking place. This time, Kronos decides to hit closer to home as they try to cut Sho's source of strength by capturing his father, Mizuki, and lure him to Relic's Point, a hidden Kronos facility where the Guyver units were discovered. But Sho is not only the one that's after Kronos, as a stranger by the name of Masaki Murakami who has a grudge against the organization has earned his trust by assisting him with his encounters with the creatures. Nevertheless, during the course of the battles, both Sho and Agito's secrets are revealed to their family, friends, and foes. But after the mysteries have been unraveled, Agito continues to play the devil's advocate even with his new ally, as he continues to persist with his scheme and take advantage of Guyver I for his own goals. Volume Three of Guyver comes with four action-filled episodes, as both Guyvers now must combat more powerful Zoanoids to protect their friends and loved ones. The first episode of the story also comes with a kindhearted moment between Sho and his father, a scene in the story that is really played well, as it will become a fundamental moment in the following episodes and to the next volume. EXTRAS: One of the joys of watching this series is the Manga / Anime Comparison, as it shows how the series continues to follow the manga. It is then accompanied with the usual Clean Opening / Closing , Production Sketches, ADV Previews, and DVD Credits. IN SUMMARY: The most action-filled volume of Guyver will lead to pivotal moments in the series. Guyver Rocks!
