Wow, where to start? As Ninja Vixens goes, this one sits on the highest branch of the obscurity tree. This could very well be the ultimate B-Movie, Ninja Vixens style of course! Not only does it require you to raise your eyebrows at every turn, some moments are almost beyond description. The back cover of this DVD ensures: “Ninja Vixens slice apart heaven and earth in this lusty thriller!” and “Japanese sirens arouse with their intimate battles!” Besides that, they must also “find the ultimate sensual weapon – the Tears of the Fallen Angel!” It has a kind of flashy MTV buzz feel to it, with morals on the same level as Legend of the Over Fiend – go figure.

The movie begins with a poor, starving girl crawling through the brush, trying to eat grass and ferns, before falling motionless to the ground with not quite swallowed greens stuck in her teeth. As she wakes up, she witnesses a father and his two sons harassing a young girl. The three men drag the young woman home, with the poor starving girl following after them in curiosity. Once home, the three men are about to take advantage of their hostage, when suddenly the supposedly weak young girl reveals her true identity – a feisty Ninja Vixen! She quickly beats them all down, and goes about looking for money. Upon finding the money, the starving girl is discovered and the Ninja Vixen wants to know why she’s there. She explains that she is alone and hungry, and wishes to learn how to be a Ninja Vixen so that she too can have a way of life. The Ninja Vixen will not give in at first, but after she is threatened by an old enemy, both girls work together to save each other and learn the ways of the ninja. They end up being mentor and student, and neither of them has to feel alone ever again. Old enemies are beaten, and the new student is now a full-fledged Ninja Vixen.

Along the way there’s a deranged man with a melted face, an evil Ninja Vixen bent on revenge, and plenty of nudity thrown. One of the oddest moments was when a middle aged man ends up with his mouth being magically sealed shut. Due to this circumstance, he’s then only able to speak words out of his now talking genitalia (no kidding). A lot of the humor, if not most of the movie itself, is based on sex or sexual situations. The movie certainly has a huge culture gap, but that’s all part of what makes it so different from anything we would usually see in North America. It doesn’t always make complete sense, but it’s certainly unique when it comes to motives and character interaction.

IN SUMMARY:
If it isn’t already obvious, this movie is the ultimate chance to laugh and cry at a very strange B-Movie. Naming a better candidate for this purpose would be more than a bit difficult. If you’re looking to be shocked and confused by one of the Ninja Vixens movies out there, this is the one you’ll want to pick up – no question.
