It’s the final volume and the fight for the future is on! The group has gone forward in time to try to stop Jin, now possessed by the revived spirit of evil professor Karasuma with Rika aka Himeka in tow. With one of their friends not only down, but possessed by the devil, they have to pool all their strength and courage together to try to stop him. The battle starts right away with Yuuki battling Micchi to destroy his Zeus ring. Karin begs them to stop, but it’s a wounded and hurting Kazune that manages to break them apart. When Karasuma steps in, things get ugly. He pounds Micchi into the ground, Micchi cries to his friends to run away. They take shelter but they are quickly found by Karasuma dragging a beaten Micchi in his wake! He goes after the weakened Kazune for his ring and also mistaking Kazune for Karasuma’s nemesis professor Kujyou. He doesn’t plan on just getting the ring, he plans on killing Kazune! Pretty soon it’s clear to Yuuki and Rika/Himeka that Karasuma will not lift a finger to bring the family together or save Yuuki’s sister. Things are looking bad when a blast from the future and a person playing possum help turn the tide. And don’t count Jin out either. He may be sealed away in Karasuma, but he’s not out of the picture just yet! It all builds to a big jump to the past that could change everything for everyone! The Karasuma’s might be saved, all of Karin’s friends too. But it also might mean that the friends they have now that they love so much might never meet up in the new present. Do they risk it all to save it all? It’s a big hearted ending for the series. In order to go back to the past, Karin and Himeka must use their separate Chronos Clocks together. They just have to convince Himeka of it first. The future changes along with the past but the epilogue at the end shows everyone getting ready for high school. Readers get to see how everyone is doing and what they’re doing now and in the near and far future. All this plus translation notes, illustration gallery, and the very last Kitty God manga!
