The oversized book has a striking full color dust jacket.  Inside is page after page of full color artwork of Tsubasa’s main characters. Syaoran, Sakura, Fai, Kurogane and Mokona are seen in amazing rich vibrancy and beautiful colored detail in this gathering of the best of the best of what CLAMP has offered in Tsubasa cover pages, splash pages, reproduced posters to page and more. There are also splash pages of Seishiro, princess Tomoyo, Chi, Yukito in the Kingdom of Clow, Ashura-O, Soma, Ryuo and a mesmerizing one of the dimensional witch Yuko also seen in xxxHolic. One character missing from the collection which surprised me was Watanuki. Although he only plays a small part at the beginning of Tsubasa, his pivotal role and crossover in Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles from his own xxxHolic series as they go into their final acts would seem to have made him a shoe-in for this gathering. Although his absence is missed, fans of both may find that the image of Seishiro looks surprisingly a lot like Watanuki.

The images have a wonderful variety in imagination and representation. There are different scenarios that play with fantasy settings, such as a scene with Fai and Syaoran holding detailed pistols from ancient times. A personal favorite is the splash page on 82-83 that has Syaoran in fine armor like a knight from another world reaching for his beloved princess. The collection of art with the characters in Tsubasa showing different color palates and themes makes for a nice diversity in this colorful collection of original artwork.

The album also comes with a bonus and all original manga exclusive to the collection featuring Mokona and the cast in a comedic tale. The book is then followed by an appendix which gives the origins of each of the art pieces held in the book and includes commentary by CLAMP on each piece.

IN SUMMARY:
Tsubasa ALBuM De REProDUCTioNS is an original art collection of outstandingly beautiful full color artwork. It is the perfect gift for Tsubasa and CLAMP fans.
