Readers get the scoop on the other members at MK Station in this volume along with how the legend was born. When the younger members find an old photo of the stationmaster along with Akita and Miyagi, they learn how MK Station became the tourist attraction it is today with its rule for having beautiful members. It is a hilarious chapter that reveals how Kakyouin first came to the station, the dislike by his fellow colleagues and his apparently always wacky and eccentric personality and how it shaped the station as it has come to be known today.  It includes the trials and tribulations of Akita and Miyagi as well as an outrageous wedding.

When the station gets an elevator, Hokuto can’t resist trying it out, despite being strictly told that it is for passengers only.  He accidentally wakes up Asahi whom he drags along with him in the dead of night to ride the elevator. They end up getting stuck and Asahi is scared and Hokuto has him convinced they’re going to die! They even start seeing a ghost! Hokuto decides if they’re going to go then he’ll at least seduce Asahi while they still live! It is another insanely funny episode, especially when readers learn what actually was going on to cause them to see ghosts and get stuck in the first place.

There’s another interesting flashback chapter involving Tsubasa and Hokuto. They first met in school, the actor and the rich boy. In the present Tsubasa has been offered a lucrative movie deal that one dare not refuse. It creates a time of reflection for Tsubasa and how the actor came to work at the station and what lies beneath the friendship with spoiled rich playboy Hokuto.  It is zany and sentimental all at once. It goes to the extreme in laughs when Tsubasa is named stationmaster for the day and Hokuto convinces his dear friend to do all sorts of things to their colleagues as payback. Tsubasa takes it one step further and just lets loose. It’s a fun time for all.

Later Akita comes down with an ulcer and is hospitalized for a few days. Meanwhile Akita has a daughter, Komachi, and she has caught none other than Asahi’s eye! When she comes to work as a cook to help out at the station, Akita goes ballistic trying to figure out who has caught his daughter’s affections. There are so many turns to this romantic romp that readers will be left guessing to the very end as to who it is.

Manga bonuses this volume include all kinds of comic panels, afterword, and a bonus story about Pure and Asahi.
