Things heat up at an elite restaurant when the young manager is seduced by a new chef in training who has more than cooking on his mind! Miyagi lost his family at a young age and has been alone except for the support of the family’s longtime friend Kazuki. The man would be a father figure, but the advances of the new chef Kasuga has Miyagi wondering if he doesn’t harbor deeper passions for his mentor and dearest friend. He has enough on his plate with trying to run the Tachibana and keeps running afoul of the owner’s son Kazutaka Tachibana. With two possible love interests, a restaurant riding on his back, and the boss’s son gunning for him, Miyagi is painted into a corner with few outs available. But nothing is quite as it seems. Kasuga persists in his attempts to seduce Miyagi and eventually gets what he wants – almost. They start sleeping together but Miyagi keeps holding himself back, a fact Kasuga is well aware of but doesn’t pressure Miyagi about. This leaves Miyagi feelings terribly selfish and guilty. But no less confused about it all. As they get closer, he at last learns that Kasuga isn’t who he says he is, in fact, he has a different identity and it involves the boss’ son! Upset, betrayed, and angry, Miyagi storms out, tears in his eyes and crying in his heart. He heard part of what was said but couldn’t believe it. The rumors about who his real father is spread like wildfire in the restaurant. Miyagi has to uncover the secret, no matter how painful, and face the truth if he is to move forward in his life. With a lot of hard soul searching he come to terms with his past and his present and now looks to Kasuga for a future, but it may be too late. The manga has all the trappings of a fun yaoi with sordid secrets, conniving kin, villainous bosses, and even spies! There are seductions, lies, and the hard won truth by the end to hopefully win out the day. The manga has an explicit appeal with its graphic content and fine line designs. It also holds an afterword, bonus manga, and interview with mangaka Ryoku Tsundoda, a relationship chart, and Kasuga’s sexual harassment theatre and favorite scene of the author which is quite funny.
