Mara’s plot to free Urd of her angelic side and turn her into pure evil has backfired spectacularly. Now there are two Urds. One is a goddess, the other a devil and the devil is intent on creating havoc and unleashing her full powers, unlimited, upon the earth!  Her sisters along with Keiichi try to stop her but evil Urd’s powers are out of control. The truth Bell knows is that with those powers unchecked by her goddess half, Urd will go out of control and self-destruct! But while she, Skuld and Keiichi, with the unexpected help of Mara, try to figure out a way to fuse back the two halves that make up the Urd they all know and love, goddess Urd has another plan. She won’t risk the lives of her sisters and the planet in order to save herself. She is intent on bringing her evil side down even if that means that both Urds will be destroyed!

It’s a wonderfully dramatic arc with lovely heart touching moments throughout. After all that excitement, the next chapters go for more of the comedy. Banpei is jealous and longs to go for a walk like everyone else, but as a machine that would be impossible. At least it would be if it weren’t for a bizarre turn of luck that allows Banpei a day out on the town like none other. It’s a fun and light episode that is as charming as ever.

Excitement reenters the picture when a fourth goddess appears in Keiichi’s house! Peorth insists she was summoned due to a deep rooted wish in Keiichi’s heart that has remained unfulfilled. The fact that she believes whole heartedly that she is a rival for Belldandy in the goddess department and also potentially of equal power to Bell is where the trouble starts. Peorth has a strikingly different approach to granting wishes and uncovering the truth in a human’s heart. She goes about seducing Keiichi at every opportunity, much to the horror of Belldandy and perhaps a touch of jealousy! While Bell’s sisters try to warn Peorth and Keiichi tries to hide from the overzealous and uninhibited fourth goddess, Belldandy feels a hitch in her heart. She is worried that perhaps she isn’t what Keiichi has truly hoped for with his first wish after all.

Things get more out of hand when Urd, Skuld and Peorth enter in a little competition as to who is the most helpful goddess with Keiichi as the unwilling judge and target!  Magical mayhem ensues with this triple threat and only one goddess comes out on top. Can you guess who? It leads to an intriguing aftermath involving Peorth and it seems that Keiichi’s life has just gained one more magical and divine complication.

Manga extras include fan letters and drawings, a message from Kosuke Fujishima, six pages of full color manga, and more “Adventures of Mini-Urd” comic strips.

IN SUMMARY:
