Nozomi and the rest of the city are left in a state of shock. The Isis computer watches from the moon, not allowing sleep as it invades their every moment and measures their every movement. It causes neurosis with the insomnia and many have fled the city. But not Nozomi. He still wants to know why Coyote betrayed and used him. What he doesn’t realize is that his time to find Coyote is running out – fast. This second volume was a year in coming but well worth the wait as it concludes the sci-fi suspense with several twists and thrills along the way. Lahti goes to Nozomi for help in order to rescue Kai who was abducted by Hermes and Coyote. To lure Coyote out, Lahti goes to extremes, including possibly killing Nozomi if that’s what it takes! When Nozomi is reunited with Coyote, it is with Coyote as his prisoner. When Nozomi learns the truth behind Coyote’s plan, Nozomi enlists Lahti’s help and those around him to try to stop the Isis program before it’s too late. But Coyote still has a few secrets that Nozomi has yet to discover and when he does, it may be too late…for Coyote! It’s a race against the clock to save the life of a loved one. A cyber-terrorist, a jealous ex-lover, and political assassinations all work into the mix for an exciting finale to the concluding chapters of Steal Moon. It’s been a thrill a minute with the suspenseful writing combined with beautiful and often erotic imagery.
