Yamashiro and Okumura continue their verbal sparring as each tries to get the upper hand in their controlling love affair. Okumura’s bar, renovated by Yamashiro, has proven a huge success, but the two seem to be struggling for the same triumph in their relationship. With neither willing to give in or confess their deeper feelings, this game of control has gone too far. Too much pride lies between them and the silk sheets and it will be a very hard fall to go if they don’t wise up soon. It gets complicated when the hot bartender Sasatani makes a stake on one of them. Kei thinks that the bartender is after Okumura, while Okumura thinks the guy is after Kei Yamashiro. Jealousies are aroused but so too is disappointment. When Yamashiro sees Okumura uncaringly watch Sasatani’s attempts at seducing Yamashiro, it tears at the controlling man’s heart. It leaves him with the impression that Okumura has never truly cared for him. If that’s true, than why shouldn’t he fall into Sasatani’s waiting arms? The story gets resolved in delicious melodrama and lingering kisses, but what about that dreamy bartender? Sasatani is left with a broken heart. When a pretty man as naïve as the day is long is about to be ravaged by an old pervert, Sasatani rescues him and gets a whole lot more than he bargained for. The man’s first name is Kei, the same as Yamashiro’s, but that’s the only commonality the two men share. He is Yamashiro’s complete opposite, yet he’s fallen for Sasatani. Can a man with no experience be able to win Sasatani who is as worldly as he is self-possessed? Kei gives chase without a clue as to what he is doing. Just when it looks like his dreams of Sasatani might come true, a run-in with Yamashiro, Sasatani’s unrequited love, fills the young man with doubts. He can’t possibly compete with the accomplished and extraordinarily handsome other “Kei”. So what happens when the pursuer stops pursuing? It’s an interesting end to the game of love for these men. The manga also finishes with a fun bonus story about Yamashiro and Okumura that’s all lovey-dovey.
