After this there are only two volumes left to go. It’s the final battle here of Team Recca versus Uraha and the casualties are getting steep! The final round is witnessed between deadly swordsman Tokiya and his old master and grandfather. The match couldn’t get more personal when it goes right to the root of how he lost his sister and readers see what set him off on his path of vengeance to begin with. But he’s changed a lot since those single-minded days hell-bent on bloody vengeance. His new friends have taught him compassion and the end of the match shows just how far the cool dude has come. Speaking of cool dudes, Kurei with Kurenai go up against the crazed psychotic clone of them – Renge! This match too shows the past and how Renge came to be. You can understand why Renge is as twisted as she is, but Kurei has no mercy in him and he deals with the clone looking for some affirmation in all the wrong ways harshly. Damn that dude is brutal. And already yet another final battle comes to an end. Next it’s the big one – Recca vs. Aoi. Another clone and he’s all that’s standing between Recca and saving Yanagi from the morphed and super-powered Koran. Recca being the blunt and kinda stupid in a good way guy that he is, tries to reach Aoi with means other than his fists of flame. Aoi after all was Yanagi’s friend. But despair and lacking a sense of affirmation and purpose pushed Aoi into doing something he didn’t want to do, betray the princess. Recca reaches him with words and that wholesome way of his and before you know it, Recca has won over 7 of the 8 karyu. But now he has to stop Yanagi from being sacrificed for the Tendo Jigoku. Koran Mori is set on consuming Yanagi as his sacrifice (yuck!). Recca goes to stop him but first he is offered one last power by Oka. This time though the power will come at a cost. Which will Recca choose? Whatever decision he makes will change the course of events forever. But he’d better choose fast before it’s too late! There’s all those fights plus comic panels and bonus art pages.
