The most exciting volume to date of this fun and comedic series, this installment doesn’t only see the passionate culmination between Akira and Rei. Chapters within the manga focus on the various pairings that have evolved since the series began and there’s more than one pair who hits the sheets in this book. There’s also the romance between Shigure and Okumiya. And a romantic coupling between Yuji and…? (You’ll have to live with being teased because you should discover this one for yourselves. I didn’t expect the pairing Yuji ends up in).
With an energetic art style that bursts with confidence and appealing men, Our Kingdom is a greatly entertaining read. The latest chapters of this yaoi manga get sexy for more than one couple and it’s fantastic to see so many of the people readers have come to know and care about, finally achieve some peace and happiness. The series has a highly enjoyable sense of humor and lively adventure. It is what makes it this reviewer’s list of the top ten yaoi manga.
