Urd’s attempts to shove Keiichi and her sister Belldandy together know no bounds. Not above using her goddess powers or a bit of trickery, she tries to get the two wallflowers together. Keiichi thinks he’s caught a lucky break when he wins a trip to a hotel and brings Belldandy with him. But Sayoko shows up to interfere and Urd appears to help her little sister out, all of which leads to a food fight unlike any other!

Later a New Year’s resolution doesn’t slow Urd down as she interferes via the use of an enchanted board game. Add in the stress of an upcoming exam, a wild party and cross-dressing and Keiichi is in for one riotous adventure after another. The short guy has no shortage of bad luck when a new and hot rich man on the make named Toshiyuki shows up and sets his eyes on Belldandy. He’ll prove to have unexpected ties with Sayoko. When the Motor Club enters a race to raise money, Keiichi faces sabotage from all corners, including Urd’s special “assistance”, Keiichi will need a miracle to win this one. Thank goodness he has a goddess on his side!

A comedy that keeps throwing in all sorts of fun and added sweetness, OMG continues to be an entertaining read. It holds a high amusement factor with very appealing and stylized artwork. Even though this is only volume 3, readers can already see how much Keiichi and Belldandy have come to mean to each other.

Extras include the comical “Adventures of Mini-Urd”, extensive translation notes, fan letters, and 8 full color pages in this volume.

IN SUMMARY:
Oh My Goddess is an eternally charming manga series with magical humor and a big heart.
