This is the must-have art book for any Bleach and Tite Kubo fan. It features 200 pages of gorgeous full color art. It includes splash pages, character pages, and even some special black only art at the very end. The book begins with a gorgeous full color dust jacket of Ichigo on the cover with his Zanpak-to in a royal blue coat. On the back can be seen a number of the Soul Society Squad captains and Rukia. Inside the book the very first page opens up to a double sided fold out poster. On one side is Ichigo and his closest friends and comrades while on the other side is a large portion of the main Soul Reapers seen in the anime. The book features various cover art, all in full color of all of the characters Bleach fans know and love. There are tons of pages that include Ichigo, many with Rukia, and quite a few featuring the Soul Reapers. Tite Kubo has fun showing them in different attire than what is seen in the anime. You can see them in various street wear, a special Chinese fashion look action splash page, a desert setting, and much more. There are also separate character pages. Among the visual images in the book, some are quite dramatic like the one image of Rukia about to be executed and another of Kenpachi covered in blood, while others are sheer fun like a scene of everyone at the beach. All of them are visually striking. It is a full on illustration collection. It doesn’t mince around with extra verbiage or unnecessary explanations. The book is one glorious page of color and art in Tite Kubo’s unique style, page after page after page for fans to feast their eyes upon and enjoy. The “Special Program” at the back features character art done strictly in black with corresponding quotes that serve almost as poems to add to the visualization of the person, giving them a poetic frame to each image. The final pages are a collection of references indexing the numerous illustrations within the book, letting people know where the artwork first appeared.
IN SUMMARY: This art book is a must-have for Bleach fans, holding 200 pages of full color art in Tite’s Kubo’s eye-catching designs. |
