The basketball challenge continues and it’s do or die time on the court and off it! It’s Lala vs. Tenma, guys vs. girls, Harima having to face off against the one he loves and so does Hanai in a battle to control the court. And if you think that’s something, wait until you see Harima and Tenma try to study!

It’s more whacked out insane chaos from the comedy that can! Tenma has gained weight and tries to go on a diet. A cake shop might not be the best place to try to take your mind off of sweets. Math and sugar don’t mix in this round and Harima’s chance to help ends in its usual crazy blunder. The show never stops. It goes from one madcap story to the next boom, boom, boom. It’s nabe at Hanai’s Dojo with Suo’s contractors and a new battle is fought over who is in charge of the nabe. The results should worry them more. Then it’s a case of ceramics gone wild during pottery class, Hanai and Harima end up slaves to the girls after a botched poker game and that leads to an all you can eat curry contest that might be the end of Harima, and a trip down the rabbit hole when Tenma wakes up perfect at everything. Too weird!

Tenma’s birthday arrives and at last Harima has the chance to take the girl of his dreams out on a date. But then two unwanted tagalongs and an expensive restaurant and low wallet makes it a dine and dash choice for the thug with a heart. Can’t Harima ever catch a break? Nope! Because next he’s worried he’s being haunted by the cursed spirit of a dead teacher. This ghost is said to prevent students from going to the next grade but Harima has to pass and graduate to the next level or he won’t be in the same class as Tenma! He goes above and beyond to break the curse.  But then Tenma gets scared that the ghost is on her back and this monkey will stop her from moving onto the next grade with Karasuma. It’s a history cram session to remember. Tenma and Harima studying, oh the horror!

There’re crazy antics when Lala cuts her hair and ends up the Queen of Shibuya. Then a sleepover at Suo’s house has the girls pressing her to tell all about her date with Aso. The volume ends with Hanai finding a classmate with a stock of trashy mags and more and he lays down the law. Too bad it means he gets caught with the naughties by the girl he swoons over!

The manga also has cultural notes, comic panels and a School Rumble relationship chart.

IN SUMMARY:
It’s ghosts, study sessions, sleepover tell alls, and more in the latest whacky adventures of the idiots you love to laugh at!
