Can Masahiro keep up his end of this saucy bargain in order to win Takane’s elusive heart? Dawn of Love is a one shot that is equal parts funny, sexy and tender. It’s adorable when Masahiro has to explain to Takane what falling in love feels like. It’s gut wrenching when a lover from the past with both affluence and charm tries to break them up and steal Takane away. It’s on the edge of your seat romance to find out who Takane will choose and if he can mature enough to fall in love at last for the very first time. I love the endearing aspect of an overly experienced seductive man who is also deeply vulnerable. It’s touching. It’s irresistible. You don’t know whether to hug the guy, kiss him, or give him a clue-by-four whack upside the head! The art has a full style I like after reading quite a few yaoi with long stick like looking figures if you feel what I’m saying. And the manga has a lot of funny stuff in it with a number of comical scenes, intentionally drawn that way to raise their amusing aspects. Most of the manga though is romantic, poignant, and double sweet. The manga also has a bonus story about unrequited love between two co-workers.
