Tomoe is the direct descendent of a proud nobility, but he himself has more than blue blood running through his veins as his legacy! He’s lived for over a century. Drinking blood and eyeing men is how he’s lived from one age to the next. But when he runs into a wild eyed, dark haired man in the park under attack, he may just have fallen in love at first sight! Taichi is everything the cool and reserved Tomoe is not. He’s wild, brash, and unrefined in his lusts and his passion in taking Tomoe any way he wants when the moon hangs high. But as night turns to day each of them wonders not just who they’ve spent the night with…but what!

Secret Moon is a delicious supernatural yaoi romance with vampires and other dangerous creatures prowling about at night to tempt and lure you into dangers untold. These two men may have found true love but they have to learn a lot about each other and themselves in order to make this otherworldly relationship fly. Taichi has no idea what he is while Tomoe isn’t exactly upfront about his own past. In trying to discover Taichi’s origins, they end up crossing paths with a nasty man who wants Taichi for nothing more than a lab experiment for his own greed! Bad mortals!  He’s willing to go as far as to get Tomoe out of the picture – permanently! This is one bad guy who has no idea just what he’s got himself into. Crime and greed never pay and these lovers aren’t above teaching the seriously wayward a well earned lesson in fear! But it might all come at too high a cost. Even Tomoe could be killed if Taichi can’t figure out a way to save his lover in time!

The vampire genre is timeless and this is a great lite supernatural romance for fans to dive in and enjoy.  It hits some angst with Tomoe being wounded and his sad and lonely past. But more than anything it is heavy with eroticism between these two supernatural beings and their love.  The novel manages some intrigue with Taichi’s past, Tomoe’s secrets and the villain that shows up late in the piece. Expect a touch of suspense when that happens. There’s nothing overly horror bound in this at all. It goes for sexy erotica over scary, more befitting the BL genre. And the lovely illustrations hither and yon throughout the novel are striking, including a full color cover page of the men in an intimate embrace.
