It’s the final volume of Kagetora and fans will find out if the ninja and the mistress he loves can live happily ever after!

The two at last confessed their feelings and resolved to be together. But no sooner did that occur then Kagetora gets called in by the head of the household (Yuki’s mother), and is told that his mission is completed and he is to leave the household for his home village immediately!  Torn between duty and his heart, Kagetora hesitates and earns the ire of Yuki’s mother!  He has no choice but to go, but before that he shares a perfect day with his beloved Yuki and they part on a heart rending goodbye.  Is this the end of their short lived romance?

Back at the village Kagetora has no heart for his training or his work. He goes to the headmaster and tells his father of a decision that he has made that will shock his family and clan completely. Meanwhile Yuki has also come to a decision and in this bout of reaction and consequences challenges her own mother to a battle in order to earn the right to choose her own destiny!  It’s quite the moving drama extravaganza and will no doubt delight Kagetora fans. There’s an epilogue that features a wedding day and it might not be for the couple you think. It shows what’s happened with and between everyone over the years and proves to be a warm hearted conclusion to an enjoyable series.

Extras in the manga are translation notes and as a very special bonus, the original beta version of Kagetora the manga. Some of the character designs are different. Yuki has long hair and looks less cute but more sexy and mature than her evolved manga character in the actual series. It’s an interesting bonus for manga fans.

IN SUMMARY:
Kagetora comes to a heartfelt conclusion in this final volume.
