When a trap for homunculi manages to allow Prince Lin to capture Gluttony, he will find himself in a deadly battle as Gluttony rages over the death of Lust. Soon it is an all out fight to the death with Lin and Lanfan trying not to die at the hands of a mad Gluttony and lethal King Bradley. Meanwhile Ed and Al have their hands full battling Scar. When Winry learns the truth of who killed her family, will the Elric brothers be able to stop her from paying the ultimate price for revenge?
This is an action packed volume with exciting battles on several fronts. The emotional struggle however with Winry discovering who killed her family and her own actions afterwards are some of the most riveting of these latest chapters. Seeing Gluttony enraged and at his most monstrous yet, is certainly one of the most unsettling scenes in this manga volume. Meanwhile in the heat of battle, Scar’s words to Edward bite into the Elric brother’s guilt and doubts recently raised from his shocking revelations in the last issue. Self-doubt is the last thing Ed needs when his battle leads to the arrival of another homunculi – Envy!
