It’s love all around for the characters in Total Surrender. There’s six tales of love to tickle your romantic side. The first involves step-brothers trying to fight their forbidden love for each other. One of them even tries to move away but his younger brother isn’t taking no for an answer! Next, friends work in the same company but in different departments. It interferes in their Valentine Day plans, but one of these guys has got it all figured out. After, a doctor and his male nurse/assistant dance around each other. The nurse keeps having to bury his jealousy when he sees another doctor fawning all over his doc. All he wants is to be the one to give his doctor a much needed love injection!

Later, a young master and his devoted man-servant have to fight temptation. This is a fight you’ll want them to lose! Then two classmates in a one year relationship are worried about things getting humdrum in the bedroom. But the ideas to spice things up go over like a lead balloon! Can these guys put the spark back into their love life before it’s too late? And last but not least, a temp loves his boss who is crazy for dogs. He goes to sweet and silly lengths to spend more time with the man he secretly adores. This last one was my favorite out of the bunch. It was sweet, cute and funny.

The art is lovely with guys getting romantic with each other and more than a tad risqué! The only critique I have is that the guys from story to story look the same. They’re very handsome, but a little variety would be great. The stories were all nice and romantic. It’s a manga that’s small on angst, big on romance!
