Satelight to animate popular TV series into a feature film.
Macross F to become an animated feature film. The announcement was made at the end of the final episode of the popular TV series on September 25. No specific information was made during the announcement, however, since the animated series is one of the most popular TV series, expectations are running high among fans.
Macross F is the 25th Anniversary animation for the Macross franchise that started in 1982, and it will be the fourth animated feature film in the series, and the first in 13 years (Macross 7: Ginga Ga Ore O Yondeiru). Anime studio Satelight will produce the feature film right at the heels of last year’s Aquarion animated feature films.
