In this 3 disc spectacular edition, Mar opens with Ginta still journeying around the open world of Mar-Heaven, a place of wonder and possible danger at every corner. Ginta thought originally it was a paradise, an uncharted perfect world, yet danger lurks everywhere and the Chess Pieces Army are planning to unleash their evil led by the unusually cruel Phantom. The question on everybody’s lips is will he be able to successfully battle the army who wants to have dominion over the world. Due to a chess piece called Giram blocking their way from a ship, Ginta advises Tom to hide as Giram and his men are stronger than they look, as well as creepier. Babbo refuses to be ignored by the Chess Piece, threatening to take him down, when Giram decides if he wins the fight, his master, Phantom will reward him greatly for bringing back the Arm. The princess and Edward meet the villagers and she starts to use her powerful Arm to heal those afflicted there. Giram tries to use his Ice Arm to defeat Ginta, but Babbo is much stronger than the chess piece gives him credit for. Ginta in mid battle hears the ghosts of the ship calling to him, asking for aid as they have been trapped there by evil intent, and need to leave the place and be free of their bonds. While the fight rages on, Tom is there watching, but there is more to him than the others know, and not all of it good. And if that was not enough for the intrepid adventurers, they have to contend with another guy who might become their seventh team member. This series has the aspects of what makes an anime successful. Fun, endearing characters who are charming and interesting to the viewer. The token evil characters who are almost always insane and power hungry while those who pretend to be all- powerful turn out to be the exact opposite. The main characters have that chivalrous edge younger manga fans will adore, while the humour comes out at every opportunity. Ginta Toramisu sounds like he looks – cute, blond and ready for anything, but in this second volume the viewers will get the feeling he is not prepared for what comes next as the episodes flow on.Ginta seems to have enjoyed his stay in the fantasy world of Mar-Heaven but there is more than just the fun characters in this series, like Dorothy the witch who lets him have the hammer Arm Babbo, as she finds out she cannot wield him but Ginta can; Snow the princess and another girl who he thinks he knows from somewhere familiar, while Babbo the moustachioed weapon is fed up of taking orders after being asleep for so long.
After a while, though he like the others in the team get used to being the ones who dish out all the order within the chaos of Mar-Heaven while the viewers get to watch the spectacle.
