Love+Alpha is a romantic comedy with a supernatural twist! Yuuya is a nice guy who can’t seem to stand up for himself or how he feels. At least not very well. He’s in a highly unusual love triangle. His childhood friend Katsuki is dying to get to know Yuuya more intimately. The problem is someone already beat him to it! The dying part that is. Yuuya’s classmate and friend Kyosuke died in a bizarre accident while waiting to confess his love to Yuuya i.e. he’s a ghost! And he won’t let his love or Yuuya go! Now Yuuya has two guys, one a part of this world, the other supposed to move on to the next and neither willing to let the guy they love go! Let the war of love between man and ghost begin!

I adore romances that are fearless in their playfulness. This manga is like that. Its fun with a capital “F” plus it’s sexy. This yaoi gets downright naughty with its ghostly visits as the two men (ghost and living alike) fight for Yuuya’s heart and body. Add in a stern older brother who excels at exorcisms and the fight is most definitely on! The art is fantastic. Great looking guys and a lot of explicit sex when the battle to win Yuuya turns to naughty nocturnal misdeeds on the part of both men. Plus with the ghost aspect get ready for a one of a kind threesome!  And like the rest of the 801 line, the manga has a full color cover page.

Yuuya has to decide who he wants and likes the most. And it’s a tough choice! Both men are aggressively pursuing him, seducing him, and getting closer and closer to having their way with him! The small bit of angst is that one of them is a ghost. That might mean partings and tears. Or maybe the living guy will get the boot to the curb! It’s anyone’s guess. But mostly it means a lot of sexual frustration for this lovelorn spirit intent on getting his man! The manga is too much entertainment. I laughed, I howled, and I squealed with each page. Sexy, funny, fabulous!
