It’s the penultimate volume of the brutal and violent manga series and things are not looking up for Tobei. He has to collect 108 sins in 108 days but at this rate he may not live to collect them all!  He may have defeated Wish, the first of Team EX's fighters who have power over their Toga, but the battle is only beginning, and Tobei has already come up against one major flaw. It seems his conscience after all these centuries in the underworld has begun to reassert itself. It is causing trouble with his use of Togari. Without the power of Togari what hope does Tobei have of defeating the super-powered individuals of Team EX?

After Wish, Team EX is out for blood and Tobei faces an opponent with the ability to control flame. Again during the battle as with Wish, a streak of compassion asserts itself within Tobei. It is either going to be his greatest strength, or his fatal weakness. Meanwhile things aren’t as cohesive within Team EX as one might have thought. Different members have their own agendas and things are going to heat up fast between all there fighters filled with hate

In this volume Lady Ema makes an appearance and Ose is wounded trying to find Tobei. But Ami is on the prowl and he is up to no good as well. Just what is his tie to Lady Ema and his stake in all of this? The penultimate volume ends with few answers, a lot of crucial questions, and the cliff-hanger of Tobei being swallowed up by his own darkness within Togari!
