Based on the Uragiri no Tsubasa (Wings of Betrayal) and Taiyo no Tsubasa (Wings of the Sun), Aquarion Movie is set for release on December 5, 2008 in high-definition Blu-ray in Japan. The disc will comprise of 16:9 aspect ration with MPEG-4 AVC codec, and it will come with Dolby TrueHD 5.1 / Linear PCM 2ch for its audio. The movie will be approximately 130 minutes long, and will include a 28-page booklet, HD remake of Episode 27, and audio commentary for its special features.
