Tsunade and Rock Lee steal the show in the latest episodes of Naruto. It all starts with an innocent trip to the hot springs to chill out and relax before returning to the Leaf Village. But no sooner do they get there, when a powerful family with a grudge tells Tsunade, the incorrigible gambler, that she’d better pay off her debt – or else Naruto will pay the price! But what happens when Naruto sides with his captors and goes up against Tsunade?! It’s a great one shot respite from the previous tense episodes.

The return to the village is one of mixed emotions. Many are relieved in this time of dire need to have Tsunade take on the role of the Fifth Hokage. But not everyone is happy about it. Naruto tries to intervene with a certain malcontent while Tsunade fills the big shoes her new role requires. And her first task will not be an easy one. Rock Lee’s injuries may be more than even this healer ninja of super powers can fix. Will Rock Lee never ninja his way about again? Say it ain’t so! He has to make a painful choice – go under the knife with a slim chance of success and possible death or give up the way of the shinobi forever! It could be the end of Bushy Brows!

The last episode on the disc is a gut wrencher. The pride, the manliness! It shows one of the most moving scenes in the anime to date in my not humble opinion when Rock Lee and his Sensei not only remember better days, but make a fateful choice and share one heck of a promise. Get ready to be moved and have the tissues handy!  Remember: there’s nothing wrong with weeping as long as it’s done manly.
