Believing that if they make a human sacrifice to powerful demon, a village’s people can conquer their enemies, they think of whom the sacrifice will be during a feasting ceremony where many boys are being used as whores in among the orgies going on around the feast. One such person, Gin a harem boy is set upon by a male wanting more than just being served wine. His lust so overpowering, he traps Gin and tries to seduce him, but he dies while trying to choke the boy, and the other revellers think he has killed his master and send him outside, bound to a huge boulder in the ground and ask the demon, a composite winged creature to come and claim him so that they may prosper. The demon flies in and observes the boy bound there and asks him if he is truly a murderer and evil as they claim. When he tells them the truth, he releases the boy from his binds and takes Gin in his clutches taking him to a castle in the distance far away. It is not long before he realizes that he is in a place of wonder called Aluria where all kinds of strange and amazing creatures reside. He is housed in a cell before he has his hearing with the council of that land along with another male called Kakale, who is alluringly handsome and bears long sensual fangs. When Gin is brought food and Kakale is left none, he wonders of what race Kakale really is, but that is only the beginning of the story as Gin is dragged into a world of deceit and hurt once again. The plight of the boy Gin is made more so by the problem of him having to trust others around him who constantly seem to take advantage of his good-natured innocence. Kakale who he thought was closest to a friend he could ever get has an even darker side to him than the boy had anticipated, and so the story continues at its own pace. It is interesting to see how much the boy is seen as an aphrodisiac to the others when he is at the harem back home, and how much he does not realise how attractive he is despite it all. Though it is obvious what Kakale wants from Gin, he is very much a bold and protective sort if any other male dares to take him for his own ends. This is the sort of manga many will want to read as it is full of seduction, lovemaking and eroticism. The fan will enjoy this for many nights to come - great bedtime reading. Yishan Lee's art is as saucy and naughty as one would like in this series and is partly what will keep the reader hooked.
IN SUMMARY: Sensual, dramatic, daring and highly erotic - this is certainly for the discerning Yaoi manga enthusiast. |
