Bandai Namco invest on Fujiyama in a bid to start overseas delivery infrustruction for the Bandai Channel.
Due to the high demands for overseas online broadcast in anime, Bandai Namco Holding has made an investment in Fujiyama, a company that specialize in multilingual subtitle delivery. The decision was made with Bandai Channel in mind, as it seeks to develop an infrastructure for overseas online broadcasting business, and intends to utilize Fujiyama’s multilingual subtitle delivery system.
With Fujiyama proprietary software and methods, they could produce and deliver subtitles in a shorter period of time than in the conventional subtitle production methods, and it can immediately modify information that’s already been delivered if necessary. As demands continue to rise, it is possible that companies that engage in animation and movie business other than Bandai Namco and GDH will seek the same delivery system for overseas market.
