New When They Cry OVA titled Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Rei is heading to high-definition Blu-ray. The new OVA will consist of 5 episodes, and will be sold individually on DVD and Blu-ray starting Januray 23, 2009. The fifth episode will follow the same storyline as the PSP game.
