Sony Picture Entertainment (SPE) announced that its animated version of Ultra Violet entitled Ultra Violet: Code 044 is heading to DVD in October and Blu-ray box set on December.

The series which started broadcasting on Animax on July 1, 2008 will be first release on DVD on October 22, 2008 with volumes 1 and 2. Additional two volumes will arrive in November 19 and December 19 for a total of 6 volumes. Each volume is priced at ¥3,990 and will contain two episodes. In additon on December 19, a Blu-ray version of the anime will be release as a box set, which will contain all of the episodes for ¥27,000.
