Mugi and Yuu are stuck with a new roommate – the oversexed fiancée of Mugi’s dad – Mako!  She’s buxom and flaunts it, incensing Yuu.  Mako even wants to spend the night with her new ‘son’!  Yuu goes ballistic and a challenge is smacked down.  The winner will get to sleep with Mugi … Hold up!  Sleep with Mugi?  Yuu and Mugi haven’t even officially dated yet.  Yuu goes over the edge in the most recent Pastel.

Mako is a great addition.  She’s lots of eye candy and meddlesome chortling fun.  Just when Yuu thinks Mako is under control, or at least safely back at home – booya! – Mako tags along to school.  Her sexy and scandalous ways set Yuu’s temper through the roof while Mako leaves a wake of Passed out hormonal boys with nosebleeds (nosebleeds are the Japanese cultural sign of a guy’s arousal in anime and manga).  The clever manga writer does a turn around with the School Story and suddenly we’re given a heartbreaking look into Mako’s past.  It’s an ‘aww’ moment for sure!

A trip to the beach with their friends – and Mako – puts Mugi and Yuu to the test.  His buds push Mugi to finally tell Yuu how he really feels – like it’s not obvious to everyone else!  Will he man up and do the deed?  Is romance in the air in this volume?  It could be!

Manga extras include translation notes, preview of the next volume in Japanese, character illustrations with notes, and a bonus manga story.  The tale of a lonely boy, the mysterious girl he meets and the amazing day they have plus the key of a lollypop makes for a super sweet feel good romance.

IN SUMMARY:
Mako stirs up trouble and hormones plus a trip to the beach might see Mufi tell Yuu what’s in his heart!  It’s romance, comedy and fan service in the perfect blend for a sweet tale full of heart and laughs!
