Things are going slow and steady between Yuu and Mugi. But they might get a heck of a jumpstart when Tsukasa comes up with a scheme that involves Kazuki and Manami. It’s the “Super Duper Love Strategy” unleashed in this volume of Pastel! First, though, a day alone with Yuu gets shot out of the water for Mugi when he gets called into the restaurant he works at --- and has to run it all alone! Talk about out of the frying pan and into the fire! Sure, Mugi’s dream is to own his own restaurant but talk about a crash course! Good thing Yuu is sticking around to give him a special hand. The racy fun happens when Manami runs to Yuu for moral support. She’s sweet on Kazuki but the guy who is a legendary perv won’t even lay a finger on her. And she wants him to! Trust Tsukasa to come up with a tricky plan and involve Yuu and Mugi in it. It’s swimsuits and bare skin all in an attempt to spur Kazuki into making his move! This will either bring them together or bust them up! Later Yuu and Mugi go to see a childhood friend of hers that’s in town. But Yuu’s friend is a dude! Mugi starts turning green around the gills and he picks a fight with Yuu. Well, this is Pastel, all soft colors, so don’t fret that there’s anything too angsty. It’s romance done soft and sweet. Just like Yuu and Mugi. The volume ends with Mugi’s dad returning home, only to drop his new hot and luscious babe with them while he goes off on another long distance job. Mako seems to think clothing is optional and her big bosom is turning Yuu green with envy. How will these three manage together, for a whole month? Manga extras include comic panels, translation notes, and a preview of the next volume in its original Japanese language.
