Killua goes up against Shoot for a battle that will force him to make a choice --- fight or flee!  That fight and rescuing Kite pale in comparison to the blood bath that is the birth of the Chimera Ant King!

It’s on of the bloodiest volumes of Hunter X Hunter yet!  The Ant King isn’t the hope the ants longed for.  He goes on a killing spree eating the brains of men, women, even little kids.  And with each brain that has Nen, he gets stronger!  The Chimera scatter, each ant to be king of his own anthill.  It’s chaos and murder everywhere!

So where are the heroes?  Both Gon and Killua are doubting themselves and Gon can’t use Nen for a whole month!  They have to rely on Shoot and Knuckles to save Kite.  They’re in for a gruesome shock when they are reunited with him again.  They all vow to get stronger.  But when word of the Chimera’s taking over the land spreads, the group of comrades splits up to stop the rising Ant Kings.  But wait til they cross paths with the Chimera Ant King and get a load of his murderous rampage!

The chapters with the big bad Ant King is some of the harshest stuff yet.  It isn’t looking good for Gon and Killua!

IN SUMMARY:
Brace yourself, Hunter fans!  Gon and Killua hit a rough patch and a new big bad is more than anyone can chew!
