Team Guy and Team Kakashi have closed in on where the Akatsuki have Gaara, but they might be too late!  Breaking into the place is hard enough but now the Akatsuki show just how clever they are by dividing the good guys and facing off!

Holy intense!  Gaara might be dead!  But to find out, Naruto and Kakashi have to stop Deidara and that is one seriously deadly ninja.  The main battle this volume isn’t them, though.  Granny Chiyo and Sakura go up against puppet master Sasori and Granny has some payback to dole out --- if she can!

Sakura kicks major ninja butt, even if it takes her life to do it!  Wow, the skills she has are wicked.  Sakura has never been cooler.  The fight with Sasori is seriously deadly.  And it’s two puppet masters giving it all they’ve got to take the other out --- with Sakura in the middle!  She’s grown fierce under Tsunade’s training, but with creepy human puppets, a barrage of poison and attacks coming from everywhere, this might mean the end of Sakura!

There’s side stuff going down too.  Like what will it mean for Naruto now the Akatsuki might have extracted Gaara’s spirit.  Naruto holds the nine-tailed fox; he’s the big kahuna to bag as far as the Akatsuki goes.  The other side-story is with Sand Village.  Gaara’s pals aren’t keen with the village’s priorities.  Just what is going down in Sandytown?

IN SUMMARY:
Sakura takes center stage when she battles on the front line against the deadly puppet master Sasori.  It’s insane ninja action --- believe it!
