Kihara is the elite school student in his senior year. The Chief R.A., he is known as the “Prince of Warm Sunshine”. But in reality he can be pretty devious. In fact, when he learns about the school’s prophecy that the R.A. will be romantically involved with whoever he rooms with in his senior year, well, Kihara rigs the draw so that Yoshimi bunks with him. But Yoshimi, although pretty, has a nickname too and it’s the “Prince of Ice”. Can a warm sun with ulterior motives melt the icy exterior of the most beautiful boy in school? Find out along with other romances brewing at the school in Blue Sky! It’s sexy boys and lovely romances in Blue Sky. Kihara’s attempt to woo the aloof Yoshimi meet with one sang after another, including a persistent suitor and Yoshimi’s overprotective and hot looking brother. But the battling romance of the two princes isn’t the only couple heating up in the manga. The yaoi has a rejected lovelorn athlete find solace with his best pal. And then there’s a student doctor who ends up meeting stiff competition for his affections with one very persistent young man. But don’t worry about you readers concerned with age appropriate romances, this is one patient young man and he’s willing to wait until graduation to meet his man on equal terms and steal his heart! It’s nice attractive illustrations in this racy dorm romp. Even though a couple of the guys have nearly identical hairstyles (makes it hard to tell them apart) but the rest is smooth sailing in Blue Sky as far as the art goes. It’s sweet and sentimental stories about young love. There’s nothing too racy except with one couple that has quite the steamy meeting, and reunion and later another rendezvous (fans self).
IN SUMMARY: Blue Sky is dorm fun at an all-boys’ school a la Gakuen Heaven. |
