Fullmetal Alchemist Box Set – Archives announced in Japan, and set for release on January 28, 2009.
The highly popular Fullmetal Alchemist, which debuted in 2003 in Japan, with a yearlong broadcast that spanned 51 episodes, and spawned a motion picture (Conqueror of Shambala) after its run, are headed to DVD and Blu-ray on January 28, 2009 in Japan in a special collection package.
Fullmetal Alchemist Box Set – Archives will consist of all the 51 broadcast episodes on standard definition DVDs, while Fullmetal Alchemist the Movie: The Conqueror of Shambala will be on on both Blu-ray high-definition disc and standard DVD, and the box comes loaded with extras.
