INUYASHA MANGA TO END IT'S LONG RUNNING SERIES

The popular long running series from Rumiko Takahashi to end in Volume 29 fo Shonen Sunday.


Rumiko Takahashi’s Inuyasha, a popular long running manga that ran for more than 11 years, will bid farewell in Shonen Sunday’s Volume 29. The serialization started in 1996 that spans in 53 volumes, and the popularity of the series spawn into a TV series franchise in 2000 with a total of 167 episodes, and four feature films.

Inuyasha is one of Romiko Takahashi’s great works and is her longest series to date. Other work she did are “URUSEI YATSURA,” “MEZON IKKOKU,” and “RANMA 1/2”. Even though Ms. Takahashi has a history of working with long running series, she has never taken long interval between her works, and everyone will be watching her activity to see what’s next after Inuyasha.

In July, Ms. Takahashi will exhibit her works in Rumic World; which be held at Matsuya in Ginza, Tokyo from July 20 through August 11. This marks the first time her work will be exhibited in her 30 year plus career.
