Teppei and Suguri go up to a breeder’s farm outside Tokyo and it’s a landslide of puppy cuteness in the latest Inubaka!

Suguri is shocked when Teppei leaves her there.  It seems despite all her innate talent, she needs training and it’s crunch time!  There’s the kindly owner, but most of her time is spent with the surly yet handsome Minoru.  It’s the circle of life as she watches puppies be born, others pass away, and deals with the tears and triumphs at a proper, humane doggy breeding farm.  It’s a huge learning curve for Suguri.

The time with Minoru also has her learning more about the brooding boy.  This is the first time there’s been a potential rival to Teppei as Suguri’s possible love interest.  There’s something about him that’s special.  Hopefully we’ll be seeing more of him.  And don’t fret, Teppei fans.  There’s an informative side story about him when he helps Mari decide if she should get a second puppy.  The volume ends on a fun photo day at Woofles with one embarrassed owner deciding that it’s time that his porky pooch loses weight.

This manga volume takes a bow, I should say “bow-wow”, to the puppies!  There are many breeds lovingly drawn and the author provides amazing doggy facts that could be of help to any dog owner.  I have cats, and I hope that she’ll some day write as detailed a manga for them.

IN SUMMARY:
Inubaka has gone to the dogs in the very best way!  Puppies rule in the latest volume!
