Here’s whirlwind comedy that only the main character can’t remember! Se-Lim was in a coma for a month after a terrible traffic accident. When she awakens she cannot remember her life, any of it. Trying to rediscover who she is might be more of a trial –and an adventure – than she guessed when she learns from her diary that she was in love – but the diary never says with whom!

So begins a romantic comedy full of vigor. And a tender hearted underlying vein.  Se-Lim is a sweet girl. The problem is that she is discovering that she wasn’t before she lost her memory. In fact, she was the devil incarnate, the infamous terror of the entire school! Her two best friends are a narcissistic and unrepentant girl along with an equally self-serving air head. When Se-Lim discovers her diary, it is filed with her love for a boy, one that is never given a name. With small clues she goes about to discover who she loved only to find out what a terrible person she’s been. Everyone hates her with the exception of her always kind older brother and she’s at a loss of what to do.

She doesn’t want to go back to the way she was before but she wants very much to try to make up for the sins of her past. In so doing she makes an impact on two of the possible candidates for the boy in her diary. One is the school bully Yoo-Jae and the other is an aloof pianist named Chan-Young. When some of the people she’s crossed (including these boys) learn of her memory loss, will it be a chance for new beginnings or will they take this opportunity to get their revenge?

This manwha (Korean manga) is a stellar new romantic comedy. It’s boisterous and full of energy but also has a sweet touch to it. Se-Lim is sympathetic as a kind girl trying to make good on the past self that was so bad. She does this while struggling to deal with her memory loss. With the best friends who are as likely to be her enemies and the boys who she’s done wrong, it makes for lively reading filled with compelling characters and stories. It will be exciting to find out what all those secrets are and just who she was writing about in her diary. The manwha promises to hold a lot of fun surprises and is a must read for fans of romantic comedies.

The art style has a hip romantic style that is immediately appealing. The expressiveness and beauty of the character designs are attractive and absorbing to look at. The manwha has fun vacillating between this style and going to a simple comedic illustrative design for comedic purposes when needed.

IN SUMMARY:
Forge About Love is a memorable romantic comedy that will keep you guessing! It’s Peach Girl with a dash of Samantha Who? about a girl with amnesia who is trying to find out which guy she was in love with but can’t remember!
