Minami can’t forget his illicit night of passion with his intense co-star Sawada Kazuomi. Minami deeply regrets having forced the man through blackmail to sleep with him, but he can’t forget the passion they shared and the feelings his heart still holds for the dark and aloof Sawada. However his pain has not gone unnoticed. Catching the rebuffs of Sawada towards Minami, cast member Katagiri steps in, more than willing to pick up the pieces of Minami’s broken heart and confused feelings. Obsession is lurking everywhere and who can resist the addiction of the stage let alone desire in this thrilling romantic drama from the author of Yellow, Red Angel, and Steal Moon.

Minami tries to turn over a new leaf and strive to become more like the hero he portrays in the sci-fi action series he stars in. But seeing Sawada every day makes it hard. Even though Sawada plays the arch nemesis on the set, off the set he constantly rejects Minami. And it may be that he does it to protect himself as much as his co-star. Is he not so indifferent after all? When he spies Minami with Katagiri, he doesn’t seem unphased. The real test comes when his old acting partner and former lover Takagi arrives. He’s the new cast mate on the set and is looking to pick up where he and Sawada left off! Just when Minami thought he was getting over Sawada, seeing Takagi brings his feelings front and center yet again. What was once a love triangle has now become something far, far more complicated. Minami loves Sawada but is trying to make it work with Katagiri who is obsessed with Minami. Takagi wants Sawada as his again. But Sawada, just what, and who, does he really want? It may not be what everyone thinks and it makes this strange love ‘square’ that much more complicated.

It’s richly drawn romantic drama the way only Makoto Tateno can deliver.  There is also quite a bit of detail given to life on the set which is worked in well with the soap opera happening behind the scenes.

IN SUMMARY:
Jealousy, obsession, and desire all have starring roles in this dramatic romance.
