SERIES SYNOPSIS: When goofy inventor Senbei Norimaki creates a precocious robot named Arale, his masterpiece turns out to be more than he bargained for! REVIEW: From the creator of Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball Z, Dr. Slump is an off-the-wall comedic romp for manga fans to sit back and enjoy. In this latest volume Senbei and old man Tsun are up to no good again when they invent a pair of x-ray glasses. Now all they need to do is test them and they pick the public baths to do a little “scientific” peeking! The antics keep rolling with the start of a motorcycle gang, an adventure of galactic proportions, and the release of the mischievous Gatchan! Funny and completely irreverent, Dr. Slump is the perfect manga for when you need to give yourself a break and read something completely wacky and fun. All the stories are pretty much standalones and read more like a comic strip than your regular manga. It has a robust comical art style and story telling manner quite different from the average manga as well. It’s exceptionally lively in both story and art. IN SUMMARY: Dr. Slump is a wacky and wild manga bursting with laughs. |
