The trip to New York may be the beginning of the end for Tsukasa and Tsukushi’s love life with each other. She’s tried to be strong, she’s tried to be brave. Heck, she’s traveled to the other side of the world in order to see him and then he gives her the cold shoulder! That would be it for anyone. And now that handsome and sweet Rui has reentered her life like a knight in shinning armor, maybe Tsukasa is about to lose the girl for good! I have to say I think it serves him right this time around. The yo-yo romance between these two has been maddening. It’s heartbreaking. Tsukushi deserves so much better! But the heart can’t help what it wants and who it loves. Oh the sighs it engenders. Trying to help heal her broken heart is Rui, her first love. And he’s sweeter and so suave and kind that I fell for him in a New York minute! Tsukushi doesn’t seem immune to his natural gentle charm either. Unfortunately their day out seeing the city brings Tsukushi face to face with Tsukasa’s psychotic mother! Could this get any worse? It seems Tsukasa’s family is in trouble. Will Tsukushi let them flounder? Then again, what can a kind girl from a poor background possibly do to save a multi-million dollar company? Well it’s big romantic upheavals in this volume let me tell you! Rui has a confession of his own and Tsukushi is moved by it…! Could he win over the girl? Could this be the end of the Tsukasa and Tsukushi on again off again romance filled with angst? It looks like it is. And just when the two meet again for one last painful teary goodbye – BANG! You won’t believe the cliffhanger the manga ends on this time!
IN SUMMARY:
The New York trip might be the beginning of the end for Tsukushi and Tsukasa’s roller coaster love life. And a new beau steps in to take Tsukasa’s place! It’s a modern day Cinderella story! |
