It’s ghosts and thing that go bump in the night done extra scary in this round of Muhyo and Roji’s BSI. They’re barely holding onto the barrier which is all that’s protecting them from the outside attack. And it’s an attack from their beloved teacher Rio! She’s turned on them for all sorts of sad reasons and it’s tearing the good guys apart inside and out! Enchu is pulling all the strings and the only hope for the good guys is a scary energy drink by Biko to rejuvenate Muhyo. Even then, it might not be enough juice to help Muhyo out in this fight! Enchu shows up on the scene and personal laundry gets hinted at. The gang tries to save Rio and Muhyo seems to also want to save bad boy Enchu. But some people can’t be saved I guess and this time everyone barely escapes alive. But they get away with something more – a death sentence on their heads! That’s s right, Enchu and his army of Forbidden Magic Practitioners are now all out to do in Muhyo’s friends to cause him pain. You think all that would be more than enough for anyone’s plate. But oh no, more trouble comes when a Ouija board game goes way, way wrong. Possession and girls in trouble have Roji running to the rescue yet powerless and the entrance of dominating Executor Goryo and henchman Ebisu is more trouble than supposed cavalry. They have their own BSI office and are not taking well to the competition. In fact, they challenge Muhyo and Roji to a competition. The first person to free a haunted apartment from the ghosts inside wins. And the winner takes over Muhyo’s office! It’s win or get disbanded for these two if they can’t match the terrific teamwork of those two conniving interlopers! The manga has some extra creepy ghoulish ghosts this volume all throughout. I mean there are some seriously gross critters and ghosties lurking around. The manga keeps up the intrigue, ramps it up even and adds in a good dose of horror in an exciting supernatural world filled with eerie ghosts and interesting characters.
IN SUMMARY: One of their own goes to the dark side in this volume and a death sentience gets handed out on their heads! It’s exciting ghostbusting done wicked cool! |
